So, Norway had some kind of something or something or another happen recently. It’s hard to explain other than to say it was a spiral of light in the sky. Check this compilation of videos:

Some people are freaking out about it, but I have a hard time being interested in it at all.
First of all, it seems like it would be very easy to fake given some rather common atmospheric conditions. Second of all, it doesn’t actually DO anything. No people are sucked into space. No one started speaking in an unearthly voice about the end of days. It’s just some lights in the sky. Mysterious? Yes. Evidence of aliens or supernatural thingies? No. Hell no. Please be serious.
So, anyway, it’s neat, so look at it. But don’t get carried away.
